Hey, not a bad game. In my opinion, a couple of paragraphs of text are missing for the prologue of the game and the goals of why we play levels and mini-games are not clear. You need a goal and a reward for completing levels. And then it will be a cool Catalog game.
But I'm here for another reason. Where is the third item? Is there a save in the game?
Thanks, appreciate it! The mini games were put in sort of just for fun :) They are optional. Id still like to revisit this game and add a level or two and a boss, I hope Ill get the time for that somewhere down the line.
If I remember it correctly the 3 items are a fish, a teddybear and beating/playing the mini game on the ”first level”.
The game should save when you enter a level so you dont need to walk back to it from the start.
Eh, this game is okay but it's just not worth $5 in my opinion. I know the developer probably worked very hard on this game so I feel kinda bad leaving a review like this but it's just not a very fun game. The physics are very floaty, it's not very challenging, and it feels very unpolished. The home screen image is squished (see below), the game does not save your progress when you quit so you have to complete the entire thing in one sitting, the first two "challenges" (soup pots and cacti) are essentially the same thing (and there's more of that later too.) I dunno, it's an "okay" game but I regret paying $5 for it. It's more of a $1 - $2 game in my opinion, especially when there are way more polished platformers with a cheaper price tag (e.g. The King's Dungeon.)
As for not saving the progress - you probably played an older version as from the latest version (1.4 and 1.41) the game now saves your latest checkpoint.
I cant really speak to the other game you mention, but I think 5$ is a fair price given that the game has a wide variety of graphics, individual levels that are all unique both in terms of graphics and gameplay - but yeah its all very individual.
I think its a very cool game atm. The cat does feel a bit too floaty tho and I'm not sure how I feel about the double jump. But overall its very cute and I can imagine it being fun when finished
Thanks :) I am tuning the jumping, I agree that the air hang time feels a bit like the cat is on the moon in the teaser demo. I think I will be able to get an early access version out soon, just needs to be a bit more stuff to play through :)
Quick question. Haven't installed the update yet, but there's a small gap at the start of the game (plants on top and bottom). How do I get through there? It's right when you reach the first right wall in the first level.
In the first demo here you can only walk from the sofa at the far left and right up till the wall where there is a bathtub on the other side. There are no intentional gaps where you can walk between. The full game will be more fleshed out though :)
Its just a little demo to let people get their hands on it and see what they think. Im working on a better demo for the first level, I think I will get that one out by the weekend. So check back in once in a while to see what more is coming :)

Funny. The screen displays a fish, a bear, a question mark and a reward for the mini-game.
It will be cool to see new levels and bosses)

Oh cool, I'll give 1.41 a spin. Weird that Itch didn't let me know a new version had been uploaded, usually it does.
